About

Jacobo Cuesta Wolf is a german based designer with spanish and german roots.
He graduated with distiction from the university of applied sciences Wismar in product design and holds a master degree in industrial design from BURG Giebichenstein Halle, where he continues working as lecturer and artistic associate in the furniture and interior design department.

During his studies he worked at studio Aisslinger in Berlin and as freelance designer for several clients. He is focused on products of everyday use and driven by the various possibilities of circular economy and sustainable product development. It is always his  aim to design and develop a concept with a character in order to achieve a strong product that will speak for itself. His work is ranging from furniture, lighting to experimental studies in fields of material based experiments including smart materials.

He was honoured with many awards such as the IF Design Award (2023) in the same year he was also chosen as German Design Award Newcomer Nominee and was nominated for the German Eco Design Award. He was shortlisted at ein&zwanzig Award from the german design council (2022) and won the German Packaging Award in two categories (2021).
